In the previous article, we focused on some of the common interview questions and best responses. We’ll be talking more specifically about difficult questions where you would need to answer wisely.
If you don’t know the exact number, then you may give an approximate but do not boast about it.
This tricky question can be answered in many ways. You may take a specific one if you’re confident enough to back with substantial reasoning. Otherwise you may play it safe by saying that you’re comfortable working with both words and figures.
Be honest while answering this particular question. You may even co- relate your answer to what the new position will offer you but make sure you don’t speak vaguely. While explaining the least liked aspects, don’t go too much into details.
You can articulate while answering this or you may even take achievements from your resume which you already would have mentioned. Using brief statements would be a plus point if you can back It with appropriate statistics.
Explain your strengths which will be good for the organization. Don’t lay much emphasis on your weakness; rather state them as lack of certain skills which you can learn over time with training and experience.
“Very well” – would be a perfect answer followed by some solid statement like working under pressure makes you perform better.
This is the perfect time to once again explain the interviewer that how your qualification, organizational skills and expertise will help you perform better in this job, emphasizing on the point that you’re the best fit in this role.
Explain in the same order in which the events would take place, assuring that you’ll work according to the company’s disciplinary policy. You would first understand the problem and discuss in private and thoughtfully. Even after that if the problem is not solved then you would take required actions.
You can always start by asking what the range of similar jobs is. If you don’t get an answer then mention your worth in terms of a range. You should also do some research so that you know what others are offering for similar position.
You need to modify your reply according to the position you’re applying for. State at least 3 strong points which you can relate to the current job position.
On weak points, don’t say bluntly that you don’t have any; rather you can just tell one of your characteristics which you need to work on.
